Domestic firms should make great efforts in the competition with foreign invested firms to contribute more actively to the global value chain and participate more effectively in the world’s production network, experts said.
A proposal to establish the Viet kieu (Overseas Vietnamese) Bank in Viet Nam has been raised at a meeting between Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Viet kieu experts last week.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) has
decided to reduce the petroleum import quota for this year to
approximately seven million tonnes from the earlier 9.115 million
tonnes.
