The Viet Nam National Coal and Mineral Industries
Holding Corporation (Vinacomin) has gained VND1.6 trillion (US$76.1
million) from the divestment of three companies in its non-core
businesses this year.
Thailand''s Beri Juker Public Co. Ltd (BJC) signed a deal earlier this
month to buy the Viet Nam operations of Germany wholesaler Metro for
US$876 million.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved in principles to allow the
Viet Nam National Coal and Minerals Industries Group (Vinacomin) to sell
all of its charter capital at Vinacomin Finance Company (CMF) to Viet
Nam Prosperity Bank (VPBank).
