Vietnamese ports handled a total of 59,338 vessels between January and July, an annual decrease of 3 per cent, reported the Vietnam Maritime Administration.
The volume of cargo passing Vietnamese ports in the first four months of this year rose by four per cent to about 215.3 million tonnes despite the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The volume of cargo passing through Vietnamese ports in the first quarter this year reached more than 159 million tonnes, up 8.4 per cent over the same period last year.
