A Viet Nam – South Africa business dialogue took place in Cape Town, South Africa on Wednesday as part of the countries’ fourth inter-governmental partnership forum.
Trade between Viet Nam and South Africa has great potential for
development with co-operative ties in many sectors, South African
Ambassador Kgomotso Magau said yesterday during a seminar and business
matching event held in HCM City.
Viet Nam has become a promising destination for businesses, investors
and tourists from South Africa, heard a seminar in the Mekong Delta city
of Can Tho yesterday.
Exports from Viet Nam to Africa, South Asia and West Asia in the first
seven months of this year totalled US$6.5 billion, a year-on-year
increase of nearly 50 per cent.
