Vietjet will collaborate with the Department of Civil Aviation of Laos to implement aviation-related projects and further expand air transport activities in Laos, which is expected to up to 2,500 new jobs in the aviation sector.
In a newly issued decree, the Government has made an effort to boost border trade quotas and the overall trade situation for Vietnamese residents in the border area between Viet Nam, China, Laos and Cambodia.
Border gate trade among Viet Nam, China, Laos and Cambodia in 2016 is
expected to reach US$30 billion, Nguyen Cam Tu, deputy minister of
Industry and Trade said.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc yesterday told authorities in the
central province of Quang Tri to speed up work on an one-stop-shop
model at the border gate with Laos.
Viet Nam continued to be among the top three investors in Laos, with
more than 400 projects valued at US$5 billion, heard a conference
yesterday in Vientiane.
