Vietnamese enterprises need more opportunities to get technology transfers from foreign investment activities and join ventures with foreign partners for sustainable development of the domestic industry.
Improving enforcement of intellectual property rights
(IPR) would assist the process of technology transfers, develop new
products and motivate the creativity of the business community, speakers
said during a conference in Ha Noi.
The Viet Nam Environmental Industry Association called for the creation
of incentives to promote the development of the industry at a conference
in Ha Noi last week.
Agreements on sixteen technology transfers worth VND147 billion (US$7
million) were signed during the 2013 TechDemo on Thursday in the
northern province of Thai Binh.
