The bond yields are pegged between 6.1 and 8.7 per cent annually. The auction, carried out by the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, offered VND4 trillion, or $190.4 million, worth of three-year bonds; VND4 trillion, or $190.4 million, worth of five-year bonds; and $190.4 million and VND2 trillion, or $95.2 million, worth of 10-year bonds.
After the auction, the treasury sold VND3.33 trillion, or $158.5 million, worth of three-year bonds with a coupon rate of 6.1 per cent per year; and VND950 billion, or $45.2 million, worth of five-year bonds with a coupon rate of 7.13 per cent per year.
All the ten-year bonds were bought with a coupon rate of 8.7 per cent per year.
Since the beginning of 2014, the State Treasury has sold VND68.6 trillion, or $3.26 billion, worth of G-bonds.— VNS
