The State treasury successfully raised VND2.37 trillion (US$104.4 million) for the State budget through an auction of Government bonds on the Ha Noi Stock Exchange (HNX) on Wednesday.
The bonds were offered for three tenures -- five years, 20 years and 30 years, with VND1 trillion for each term.
The 20-year bonds brought in VND1 trillion with winning yield of 5.82 per cent per year, down two basis points compared to the previous sale on July 19.
The 30-year bonds sold for a total value of VND1 trillion with winning yield of 6.22 per cent per year, 0.43 per cent lower against the session held on July 12.
The five-year bonds had no winning yield.
A total of VND370 billion was raised in the sub-session sales for the 20-year and 30-year terms.
Since the beginning of this year, the State treasury has mobilised more than VND140.9 trillion from the auction of Government bonds on the HNX. — VNS
