Standard Chartered partners with the Vinacapital Foundation’s Brighter Path project to empower ethnic minority female students
Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam has partnered with The VinaCapital Foundation to support the Brighter Path programme, aimed at empowering ethnic minority female students in Việt Nam.

As part of this partnership, Standard Chartered donated 40 laptops to the foundation, aligning with the bank’s promise ‘Here For Good’ and reaffirming the bank’s commitment to supporting local communities.
The majority of the laptops have been allocated to talented ethnic minority female students from the Brighter Path Scholarship Phase 2 (2017-24), facilitating their access to quality education and the enhancement of their digital skills. This initiative, led by the VinaCapital Foundation, aims to enhance students’ access to educational resources and improve their digital skills, crucial for success in today’s technology-driven world.

In addition to donating laptops Standard Chartered is also one of the key sponsors contributing to bringing the Brighter Path Girls Club initiative to many schools in ethnic minority areas in Việt Nam, providing knowledge in financial literacy, sexual and reproductive health, legal rights and leadership skills for ethnic minority female students.
Through this collaboration, Standard Chartered has joined efforts with the VinaCapital Foundation to assist vulnerable students in transcending outdated customs and to empower them to become catalysts for positive change within their communities.
