Slovenia Appears as the Guest of Honor at the 4th China-CEEC Expo
NINGBO, ZHEJIANG, CHINA - Media OutReach Newswire - 23 May 2025 - "This is our first time exhibiting," said Hu Yun, head of Mikropis Holding's China division, at the 4th China-CEEC Expo on May 21. The company focuses on the digital health industry, providing targeted health guidance and AI remote consultations. "We previously collaborated more with the U.S. and Middle Eastern countries, but this year we aim to expand further into the Chinese market."
The expo, held from May 22 to 25 in Ningbo, attracted over 15,000 professional visitors, including more than 3,000 overseas buyers from 72 countries and regions, with an expected import procurement intention exceeding 10 billion yuan (about $1.39 billion) from Central and Eastern Europe countries.
As this year's guest of honor, Slovenia showcases themes of "green, innovation, and intelligence," featuring five special sections including green ecology, food, and low-altitude economy, and presents cutting-edge products like electric gliders and clean energy solutions. Since establishing diplomatic relations with China in 1992, Slovenia has seen increasingly close interactions and significant mutually beneficial cooperation with China, making the country its fourth largest trading partner.
This year's expo reached a new scale, with 80,000 square meters of exhibition space divided into the CEEC exhibition section and consumer goods section. The exhibitors from the Central and Eastern European countries expanded to a "14+" country model, gathering 435 international exhibitors from 14 Central and Eastern European countries, as well as nine others including the UK, France, and Germany. The expo also featured key economic and trade activities, with 11 major events and over 50 specialized matchmaking activities by industry and country, creating multidimensional cooperation opportunities for businesses from both China and abroad.
