South Korea’s Shinhan Bank has named the Vietnamese U23 football coach Park Hang Seo and team captain Luong Xuan Truong as its Brand Ambassadors for 2018.

After the Vietnamese team’s excellent performance at the recent Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Champions Final, Park and Truong have become icons among football fans.

“We choose them as ambassadors because they are highly respected by Vietnamese football lovers for their fighting spirit and strong commitment, which inspired and created a solid foundation for the team’s historic achievement,” Shin Dong Min, CEO of Shinhan Bank in Viet Nam, said.

In April, Shinhan Bank has already opened four new branches and transaction offices in HCM City and Ha Noi, taking the total number in the country to 30.

Shinhan continues to reign as the largest foreign bank in Viet Nam. — VNS
