HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Heavy sell-off pushed the shares down again on the two stock exchanges this morning, as investors were still cautious about the market outlook.
On the HCM Stock Exchange, the VN-Index slid 4.54 per cent to end the morning at 517.85 points.
Blue chips were the main drag on the market, as the top 30 shares by market value and liquidity slumped 4.42 per cent to end at 561.90 points.
More than 76 million shares, worth nearly VND1.18 trillion, or US$55.9 million, were traded by the end of the morning.
Real estate developer FLC Group (FLC) was the most active stock, with 8.4 million shares being exchanged at VND8,000 a share, down 7 per cent from Fridays close.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index also lost 4.55 per cent to close at 70.81 points on a total volume of 42 million shares, worth VND357.67 billion, or $17 million.
Property company Sacomreal (SRC) is temporarily leading the trading here, with 6.7 million shares changing hands at VND7,100 a share.
