HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Shares closed higher on HCM City Exchange this morning but lower on Ha Noi.

The VN-Index in the southern bourse advanced 0.08 per cent to reach 506.86 points.

The total trading value hit VND706.34 billion (US$33.63 million) on a volume of 59.63 million shares.

The VN30-Index, tracking the city's top shares by capitalisation and liquidity gained 0.38 per cent to 567.52 points with gainers overwhelming losers by 17-5.

Gainers included Hoa Sen Group (HSG), Bao Viet (BVH), Vingroup (VIC), Masan (MSN) and PetroVietnam Drilling (PVD).

On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index lost 0.2 per cent to 64.26 points.

More than 24.67 million shares changed hands with a total turnover of VN D195.26 billion ($9.29 million).

The HNX30-Index, however, gained 0.05 per cent to 122.55 points.— VNS
