HA NOI (Biz Hub)– The benchmark indices increased on both national bourses this morning.
On the HMC City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index rose 0.16 per cent to reach 498.2 points.
Trading volume reached 23.33 million shares, with a total value of VND358.39 billion (US$17.066 million).
The VN30-Index, tracking the southern city bourse's top shares by capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.12 per cent to hit 555.43 points.
Gainers overwhelmed losers by 14-9, but this was not enough to buoy the VN30-Index.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index gained 0.04 per cent to reach 61.66 points on trading of 9.916 million shares with a total value of VND72.58 billion ($3.456 million).
The HNX30-Index closed 0.1 per cent higher at 115.54 points. – VNS
