Semiconductor really is the buzzword these days on the lips of many tech enterprises. These tiny chips have huge potential and Vietnam is keen to get on board the technological gold rush. But it won’t be all plane sailing. Many challenges need to be overcome, not least the gap in qualified human resources that needs to be filled. Work is underway at breakneck speed to train the best possible staff and put the country at the forefront in the region of this crucial sector. Experts discussed these matters during a recent series of workshops hosted by the Hanoi Promotion Agency, Hanoi Information and Communications Department as well as other agencies.
