HCM CITY — Sacombank has been named a “HCM City Golden Brand” for 2024, the only bank to win the honour for the year.

Given by the city's Department of Industry and Trade and Saigon Times magazine under the direction of the People’s Committee, the annual awards honour enterprises that have achieved outstanding success in establishing brands, products and services that represent HCM City.

It was for a fifth consecutive year that Sacombank has won this prestigious award.

The jury acclaimed the bank’s transparency and compliance, human resource policies, business performance, management system, brand presence, product and service quality and security, and communal responsibility.

Sacombank's efforts at innovation, green transformation and digital transformation were also key factors in achieving this recognition.

Founded on December 21, 1991, Sacombank has firmly established itself as one of the leading joint-stock commercial banks in Việt Nam.

To achieve sustainable growth, over the years the bank has implemented strategies that blended flexibility and creativity in governance, management and operations and aligned with contemporary trends.

It has always offered comprehensive, multi-utility financial solutions tailored to meet the needs of various customers.

Its initiatives include collaborating with government agencies to roll out modern payment methods that contribute to the city’s overall development such as the automated ticket payment system using open-loop technology on the Bến Thành - Suối Tiên metro line No.1.

It plans to extend this technology to buses, water buses and electric buggies.

The bank strives to maximise value for partners, investors and shareholders by consistently strengthening its financial capacity, improving asset and credit quality and improving productivity. — VNS
