QUANG NGAI (Biz Hub) — The management board of the Dung Quat Economic Zone announced a detailed plan on June 24 for developing its hi-tech agricultural zone in the central Quang Ngai Province.
The 190ha zone is located in Binh Son District's Binh Hoa Commune. More than 156ha of the zone are proposed to be divided into 73 lots, such as an outdoor gardening zone, bonsai zone and a zone for special fruit trees. The remaining will be used for constructing an office management building, an exhibition to showcase products and a warehouse, among others.
The management board said the zone would use advanced technologies in seed production to make high quality products for industrialisation and modernisation processes in the agricultural sector, and to attract more investment from local and foreign companies.
The Binh Son zone is one of 22 national agricultural zones that were approved by the Prime Minister in decision 575, issued on May 4, 2015. — VNS
