Novaland, partners donate VND15 billion to support central Vietnam flood victims


Property developer Novaland Group, its staff and partners have donated VND15 billion in cash and kind to support people affected by the historic floods in the central provinces of Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Binh and Quang Tri.

Property developer Novaland Group, its staff and partners have donated VND15 billion in cash and kind to support people affected by the historic floods in the central provinces of Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Binh and Quang Tri.

The donations have been handed over to the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee in the respective provinces.

The charity will go towards immediately providing relief to families affected by the flooding.

The company has provided another VND6 billion to the For the Poor fund run by the national Fatherland Front Committee and HCM City’s For the Poor fund for sustainable poverty reduction.

With the COVID-19 outbreak along with the floods causing a double whammy, affecting many people and areas, many individuals and groups like Novaland are lending a hand to help mitigate the difficulties.

Novaland has been supporting the community for years with total donations so far of over VND400 billion, with priority being given to projects that ensure long-term sustainable development.

It has given tens of billions of dong to charity programmes organised by the Fatherland Front in HCM City, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

Tran Thanh Man, chairman of the Viet Nam National Fatherland Front Committee said: “We want to express sincere thanks to individuals, organisations and companies who have provided timely support to help people in difficulties.

“We hope that more people, both those living in Viet Nam and overseas Vietnamese, will continue to support others, especially poor people and ones affected by floods so that they can overcome difficulties.”
