Nestle MILO has launched the online version of its annual Summer Camp and sports classes at 15 sports centres in six provinces and cities to enable children around the country to play sports any time they want so that their summer activities are not curtailed by the pandemic.

At the online camp at https://nestlemilo.com.vn/trai-he-nang-luong-2020, children can choose to practise one or more sports out of football, basketball, vovinam, and aerobics through a series of tutorial videos ranging from easy to difficult levels made by experienced coaches.

In football, they have the opportunity to learn from coaches at Barcelona Club in Spain.

Before each exercise they are encouraged to warm up using MILO Champsquad, a sports application developed by Nestle to help children practise based on international standards.

After completing exercise, children get an "Energy Card" and "Dynamic Gift Set" as an incentive to encourage them to stay active.

The camp, which is expected to attract more than 100,000 participants, will also provide useful nutrition information.

It is an annual event the company organises under its Active Viet Nam programme.

Children registering for the sports classes will receive shirts, sport bags and MILO beverage.

The company had organised activities under its “Stay home, don’t stay still” programme during the social distancing campaign in April.

The camp will go on until the end of August. — VNS
