National carrier opens new Tokyo route


Vietnam Airlines yesterday opened an air route between Noi Bai International Airport (Ha Noi) and Haneda Airport (Tokyo).

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Vietnam Airlines yesterday opened an air route between Noi Bai International Airport (Ha Noi) and Haneda Airport (Tokyo).

The national flag carrier will use an Airbus A321 for seven weekly flights, each departing at 8am.

This is the company's ninth route from to Japan. Another, connecting central Da Nang city with Tokyo's Narita Airport will open on July 16.

Haneda airport, 14km from downtown Tokyo, served 67 million passengers in 2012. It is the fourth busiest airport in the world. — VNS
