Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam was voted by the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) as one of the most sustainable companies in Viet Nam in 2022.

This is the second consecutive year that the company has been honored in the top 100 sustainable companies in Viet Nam.

The ranking was based on the Corporate Sustainability Index conducted by VCCI in co-ordination with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.

From more than 600 applications in the first round and from 148 applications in the final round, the organising committee selected the 100 most sustainable enterprises.

To achieve this noble recognition, Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam has met the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) for 2022 and the 130 criteria that relate to law compliance and sustainability initiatives.

Mondelez Kinh Do has been a pioneer in implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) approaches that are designed with the goal of enabling the company to deliver lasting change at scale by prioritising where it can have the greatest impact, focusing on innovative and measurable solutions. The company has built an action plan to materialise its commitment to the comprehensive sustainable strategies of ESG.

The company also targets to achieve 100 per cent recyclable packaging for its portfolio by 2025. Today, 98 per cent of Mondelez Kinh Do’s total packaging, including both plastic and non-plastic, is recyclable and reusable, which reflects a bold step in materialising its commitment to sustainable growth. — VNS
