HCM CITY — The Ministry of Public Security’s Research and Application Centre for Resident Data (RAR) and MoMo supper app have signed an agreement to incorporate digital solutions to the ministry’s VNeID application.

MoMo and the RAR will also research and roll out digital solutions across public services, healthcare, education, transportation, and various other sectors.

They will include electronic authentication services, integration of online payment channels for public administration, bill payments and utilities, and cashless transactions in hospitals.

Through the partnership, the two sides hope to accelerate national digital transformation, ensuring transparency and safety for citizens using social services.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Major General Nguyễn Ngọc Cương, director of the ministry’s Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (C06), said: "This partnership plays a significant role in promoting the application of information technology in payment services while realising the goals of developing the e-government.

“The implementation of electronic authentication services through the VNeID platform is a practical step towards simplifying administrative procedures, enhancing security, protecting personal information, and facilitating electronic transactions for citizens.”
