Michelin customers win free trips to Thailand F1 course


Six Michelin customers have won a free trip worth 570 million (US$25,000) to the Thailand Formula One circuit at the Buriram Chang International course later this month in a lucky draw organised yesterday in HCM City.

Six Michelin customers have won a free trip worth 570 million (US$25,000) to the Thailand Formula One circuit at the Buriram Chang International course later this month in a lucky draw organised on Monday in HCM City.

The draw involved 4,285 customers who had bought Michelin touring or light truck tyres in July.

The winners, from Hai Phong, Ha Noi, Binh Duong, Ba Ria –Vung Tau, and Can Tho, will attend a safety training course, apprised about Michelin’s various sports tyres, participate in test drives in Formula 4 racing cars and Porsche Cayman cars, and sit with professional racers in the famous SEAT Lean TCR car.

All the activities will be supervised by skilled technicians and professional racers to ensure safety.

They will take part in the event with 560 other Michelin customers from the Asia – Pacific region.

This is the third year that the French company has held the lucky draw.

In 2016 it sent two winners to Sepang, Malaysia, and last year three went to Japan’s Twin Ring Motegi course. — VNS
