HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — A major trade expo for Viet Nam's manufacturing sector opened in HCM City yesterday with 290 foreign and local companies taking part.
Featuring about 500 booths, the 12th International Precision Engineering, Machine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition & Conference (MTA Viet Nam 2014) offers customers a chance to see products and technologies from leading global brands, such as Blum, Dine, Doosan Infracore, Hoffmann, Mitsubishi Electric, and Nikon.
The expo welcomes pavilions representing companies from Germany, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand.
According to the organisers, the Singapore Exhibition Service Pte Ltd and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Exhibition Service Co Ltd, visitors can see many made-in-Viet Nam products from the manufacturing value chain.
These include laser cutting machines, unique machine designs for powerful vertical production, and a system specifically designed for use in production lines and failure analysis laboratories, which will be timely amid the current upswing in the industry.
The exhibition will run at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7 until Friday.
