HCM CITY — Three agriculture and livestock exhibitions will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in HCM City from June 25 to 27, targeting to enhance value chains, foster industry cooperation, support technology transfer, and promote green, sustainable agriculture in Việt Nam.

They are the fifth International Exhibition on Machinery, Equipment, Supplies, Fertilizer, Chemicals and Agricultural Products in Vietnam (Agri Vietnam 2025), the sixth International Exhibition on Fertilizers, Pesticides Industry in Việt Nam (AgroChemEx Vietnam 2025) and the third International Exhibition & Conference on Livestock, Feed, Animal Health, Dairy and Meat Processing Industry in Vietnam (Livestock Vietnam 2025).

Jointly organised by Minh Vi Exhibition and Advertisement Services Co., Ltd. (VEAS), the China Crop Protection Industry Association, the China National Seed Trade Association, and the China Phosphate Fertiliser and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association, the exhibitions are expected to attract 400 enterprises from 15 countries and territories, including India, mainland China, the Netherlands, Israel, Taiwan (China), Turkey, and Việt Nam, and over 10,000 trade visitors.

Their highlights will include pavilions from Taiwan and India, along with specialised display areas featuring OCOP (One Commune One Product) and "Made in Vietnam" livestock products, and areas dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises.

A series of seminars will be held during the event, offering a comprehensive perspective while creating opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing and strategic direction for participants.

Speaking at a press conference on May 28 to introduce the exhibitions, Trần Nguyễn Thu Thuỷ of VEAS said the event would serve as a comprehensive platform for the agriculture and livestock sectors in Việt Nam, helping to improve value chains, connect strategic partners, facilitate technology transfer, and promote green growth.

Lê Năng Hùng, a member of the standing committee of the HCM City Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment, made a presentation titled "Science and Technology – The Key to Sustainable Agricultural Development", highlighting the importance of innovation, the circular economy and environmental protection in modern agriculture.

Hùng said science and technology will be the master key to solving the challenges of agricultural productivity and quality. The exhibition presents a valuable opportunity for domestic agribusinesses to explore and learn from international partners. At the same time, it opens up numerous prospects for regional cooperation in developing modern agriculture.

Hồ Mộng Hải of the Việt Nam Ruminant Husbandry Association shared a detailed overview of the status and potential of Việt Nam’s livestock industry.

Also at the conference, the organisers announced that Agri–Livestock–Aquafisheries Cambodia 2025 will be held from September 17 to 19 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Speakers emphasised that sustainable agricultural development has become an urgent necessity.

In the face of climate change and global sustainability demands, the agriculture and livestock sectors in Việt Nam and across Southeast Asia are undergoing major transformations.
