LOTTE Finance’s charter capital has increased by more than VNĐ726 billion to VNĐ4.9 trillion (US$188 million), with Lotte Card Co Ltd (South Korea) owning 100 per cent of the charter capital.

HÀ NỘI — LOTTE Finance Vietnam Company Limited (LOTTE Finance) has officially been approved by the State Bank of Việt Nam (SBV) to increase its charter capital by more than VNĐ726 billion, from VNĐ4.1 trillion in 2024 to over VNĐ4.9 trillion (US$188 million).
This marks an important milestone and provides a solid foundation for the company to expand and strongly develop its business activities in 2025. Lotte Card Co Ltd (South Korea) remains the sole owner, holding 100 per cent of the charter capital.
The capital increase is a key step in LOTTE Finance’s 2025 strategy, supporting the expansion of consumer services like loans and credit cards, while also growing offerings for businesses and SMEs to meet rising market demand.
A LOTTE Finance representative stated: “The capital increase is not only a crucial step in strengthening LOTTE Finance’s financial capability but also lays the foundation for executing our long-term development strategies, while allowing for comprehensive restructuring and business scale expansion.”
In the first half of 2025, LOTTE Finance actively expanded cooperation with several strategic partners such as Woori Bank, Alliex, and VNPT EPAY, in an effort to diversify its portfolio of financial products and services, and to enhance customer experience.
The company also implemented a series of standout initiatives, including expanding loan packages for civil servants and public sector employees; developing secured loan options; and introducing the “Lotte VietMerchant Credit” – a loan product tailored for small and medium-sized business households, offering competitive interest rates, simple procedures, and flexible repayment terms.
In 2024, LOTTE Finance grew strongly by launching innovative services, strengthening risk management, and enhancing customer care, while investing in technology and digital transformation to reinforce its leadership in Việt Nam’s consumer finance market.— VNS
