HCM CITY — LG Electronics has launched the 2025 LG Ambassador Challenge in Việt Nam, reaffirming its commitment to foster sustainable growth in local communities.
As an annual programme organised in collaboration with the non-governmental organisation Korea Food for Hungry International (KFHI), the LG Ambassador Challenge provides individuals and organisations in many countries with the opportunity to bring meaningful projects to life, driving positive change in their communities.
In Việt Nam, the programme seeks innovative initiatives focusing on three core areas aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: No Poverty, Quality Education, and Climate Action.
Outstanding initiatives will have a chance to receive financial grants of up to VNĐ500 million (nearly US$19,600), depending on their scale and feasibility.
To qualify, project proposals or initiatives must demonstrate practicality and feasibility, and clearly outlining how they address one or more pressing social issues.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their entries by March 31. Preliminary selection results will be announced on April 3.
Selected projects will be presented and make detailed plans for their projects from April 4 to 7 and implement their projects from April 8 to July 31.
The evaluation and conclusion period will take place from August to September 2025.
Song Ikhwan, general director of sales and marketing at LG Electronics Vietnam, said: As we launch this initiative in Việt Nam for the first time, we hope to discover meaningful, community-driven projects that create a lasting positive impact on Vietnamese lives.” — VNS
