HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – The 4th World Architecture Festival (WAF) to be held in Singapore on October 1-4 will give Viet Nam a platform for exposure to thoughtful leadership and design inspirations.

Sponsored by AkzoNobel, the world's leading paint and coating company and a major producer of specialty chemicals, the festival will feature the latest trends.

This is an international event for architects and interior designers that highlights the world's best architecture. Seminars and contests are also included.

Last year, WAF was attended by over 1,400 architects from more than 60 countries.

Jeremy Rowe, managing director of AkzoNobel Decorative Paints for South East Asia & Pacific, said that WAF awards over the past four years were based on structures and exteriors. This year the festival is dedicated to interior design.

At the festival, AkzoNobel will also unveil the colour design trends of 2014. The colour palettes and images of ColourFuturesTM 2014 are inspired by trends in colour, design, architecture, and fashion.

The AkzoNobel Global Aesthetics Centre works closely with partners worldwide to translate these global trends into interior and exterior designs. —VNS
