The 42-ha factory will have total investment capital of VND800 billion (US$35.3 million). It comprises two phases, producing 175 million eggs annually, or equivalent to nearly 500,000 eggs per day, once fully operational in 2018. In the first phase, the factory will provide 300,000 eggs per day.
The factory is the first-ever facility in the country capable of controlling biosecurity during the entire process of clean egg production by using advanced technologies from Japan, the US and Israel, DTK representatives said. — VNS
