HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) will organise the Vietnam Information Security Day 2014 at the end of this year.
The event, which will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Information and Communications, will include a series of activities on information security in the country such as training IT officers and holding a national contest for students.
VNISA will also organise an international conference on the theme of information security and national sovereignty on November 19 in HCM City and on December 4 in Ha Noi.
All the activities at the conference will focus on information security issues in the context of the constant attacks on Vietnamese websites and the data loss of government agencies due of malware in computers. Important suggestions to help the government build policies and regulations on national information security will be presented at the conference. — VNS
