The Industry 4.0 Summit Expo 2018 was opened in Ha Noi on Thursday.

The two-day event is an opportunity for more than 50 companies to exhibit their technology products.

More than 1,500 visitors are expected to attend the exhibition.

The summit promises to bring the latest technology and solutions for what is being called the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The expo is also an opportunity for leading technology corporations to meet, facilitating meeting, connect with partners and gain access to cutting-edge technology and solutions.

Visitors will have the opportunity to exchange directly, learn new experiences and investment opportunities with other businesses.

It will include a high-level forum chaired by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, five conference sections with members of Party, National Assembly and Government’s agencies, along with domestic and international managers, experts and enterprises.

The event’s key theme is “The vision and development strategy in the age of industry 4.0”.

It is hosted by the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Central Economic Commission in collaboration co-organised by The Government Office, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Planning and Investment, State Bank of Viet Nam, Ha Noi People’s Committee and IEC Group.

"We join this expo to bring our best solutions with the hope that the country will have an advanced and sustainable development in digitalisation," Trương Hoàng Linh, ABB Viet Nam Customer Experience Lead, told Viet Nam News.

“I think there are many opportunities for the fourth industrial revolution in Viet Nam.

“There are many FDI companies are willing invest in Viet Nam and willing to bring their technology to help develop the Industry 4.0 in Viet Nam,” Linh added. — VNS
