Móng Cái International Border Gate is a primary border gate connecting Việt Nam's Móng Cái City and China's Dongxing City.

QUẢNG NINH — The total import-export turnover through the Móng Cái International Border Gate in Quảng Ninh Province reached over US$1.3 billion in the first quarter of the year, an annual increase of 45 per cent, according to data from the gate’s management board.
The export turnover was $754.42 million and the import turnover was nearly $558 million.

Also in the first quarter, the total volume of imported and exported goods passed through the gate reached more than 592 tonnes, an increase of 57 per cent compared to the same period last year.
Exported goods were mainly fruits, cassava powder, frozen seafood and dry seeds, while imports were dominated by miscellaneous items and fabrics.
State budget revenue from import-export activities through the border gate reached over VNĐ604 billion ($23.4 million), an increase of over 43 per cent compared to the same period last year.
About 1.77 million people and 814 businesses entered and exited the country through the border gate in the first quarter of the year.
Electronic solutions will be installed at the gate to facilitate customs procedures between Móng Cái City and Dongxing City, as per an agreement signed between the two sides in mid-March to develop a pair of ‘smart’ border gates.
New routes will be developed to connect the two cities with key transport infrastructure such as the Móng Cái-Dongxing international railway line and the Bắc Luân III Bridge. — BIZHUB/VNS
