Hong Leong Bank Vietnam (HLBVN) has announced the appointment of Raymond Sia Say Guan as its Chief Executive Officer.

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Hong Leong Bank Vietnam (HLBVN) has announced the appointment of Raymond Sia Say Guan as its Chief Executive Officer.
His appointment came into effect on December 10.
Raymond brings with him over 20 years of banking and corporate treasury experience specialising in corporate, SME and commercial banking.
His most recent position was in Standard Chartered Bank where he spent three and a half years in Malaysia and four years in Viet Nam in different roles which included covering local corporates in Malaysia to global corporates, and commercial as well as Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) banking in Viet Nam.
Prior to that, he served as treasury manager at Usaha Tegas Sdn Bhd from 2005 until 2008, responsible for raising financing for the group's power plant assets, property and satellite business. Raymond holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia and will report directly to the Group Managing Director.

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is the first Southeast Asian bank to be granted a licence to operate a wholly-owned foreign commercial bank. Commencing its operations in HCM City in October 2009, HLBVN has expanded its network to four outlets.
