HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Three exhibitions related to the support industry, Metalex Viet Nam, Nepcon Viet Nam, and the Business Alliance for Support Industry in HCM City, will be held at a single venue in HCM City in October.

Organised by the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) in HCM City and the HCM City Investment and Trade Promotion Center, the Business Alliance for Support Industry exhibition will feature 100 Japanese buyers of parts and accessories who will also be seeking Vietnamese subcontractors.

Two other exhibitions, Metalex Viet Nam and Nepcon Viet Nam, hosted by the Reed Tradex Company, will showcase machine tools and metalworking technology and assembly, as well as measurement and testing technologies for electronics manufacturing from 500 brandnames from 25 countries and territories.

The three shows will offer local manufacturers a chance to learn about the latest innovations and services, and enable foreign investors to meet the right suppliers so they can reduce the number of imported components, said Duangdej Yuaikwamdee, deputy managing director of Reed Tradex Company.

The exhibitions will take place at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre from October 9-11. — VNS
