HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Industrialists in Viet Nam will have chance to take part in an exciting and inspirational experience in the Koma Taisen competition to be held in HCM City on October 11, according to the Thai-based Reed Tradex Company.

The competition is designed to promote the manufacturing industry through showcasing skills and technology. It also gives companies an opportunity to promote their high professional skills to the world, the company said.

The Koma (spintops) must have a diameter of 20 millimetres or less and have a highly sophisticated "in-house" manufacturing technique.

The Koma enters the ring against its competitor and collides and fights. The winner of the competition will be given all the spintops from the other participating competitors and will take part in the "World Championship Sekai Koma Taisen 2015" in Yokohama, Japan in February next year.

The competition will be a highlight of "Metalex Vietnam 2014", an exhibition on machine tools and metalworking technology and assembly, which will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from October 9-11.

Metalex Vietnam will be held concurrently with three other exhibitions - Nepcon Vietnam, the Business Alliance for Supporting Industry, and the Industrial Components and Subcontracting Vietnam. — VNS
