HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The eighth International Exhibition on Electrical Technology and Equipment and the fifth International Exhibition on Products, Technologies for Energy Saving and Green Power opened on July 22 in HCM City.
They have attracted 125 companies, including 25 from countries like Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, and Switzerland, whose 240 booths will showcase advanced electrical technologies and equipment and energy-saving products.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Phuong Dong, deputy director of the HCM City Department of Industry and Trade, said besides the opportunity to showcase their technologies and products, the two exhibitions also offer local and foreign exhibitors a chance to compare notes and explore business opportunities.
Several conferences, including one on promoting green production and consumption to protect the environment, will be held on the sidelines of the events, he said.
Organised by the department together with the HCM City Power Corporation and C.I.S Viet Nam Advertising and Exhibition Joint Stock Company, the exhibitions, being held at the Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Centre, will go on until Saturday. — VNS
