HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ Total outstanding loans in the capital city reached VND975.20 trillion (US$46.44 billion) in September, according to figures from the city's Department of Statistics which the news website Infonet quoted.
According to Infonet, the amount represents a four-per cent increase over that of August and a 3.2-per cent increase over that of end-2013.
Short-term loans grew by 5.9 per cent over that of August and 0.2 per cent over that of end-2013 while medium- to long-term loans expanded by 0.2 per cent over that of August and 9.7 per cent over that of end-2013.
In September, total deposits at credit institutions in the capital city amounted to nearly VND1,125 trillion ($53.57 billion), increasing by 0.5 per cent month-on-month and by 7.5 per cent over that of end-2013. — VNS
