The 2018 regional farm produce and specialties fair and Ha Giang orange and Bac Kan mandarin promotional week will take place in Ha Noi from December 19 to December 25.

The Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development organised a press conference to announce the event on Monday.

The fair will have 200 booths, aiming to highlight local specialties, develop agriculture, and create opportunities for economic exchanges, enhance trade promotions and promote brand names.

It aims to help localities to expand their markets, helping local specialties to become commercialised products.

The fair will also be an opportunity for localities to attract investment in the production of specialty products on a large scale, encouraging the development of cultural, tourism, culinary and green potential.

Conferences and seminars will also be held during the fair. — VNS
