Addressing GBA's growing medical needs with better cross-border health protection

FWD's cashless hospitalisation service currently covers all Grade 3A hospitals in mainland China, with over 120 such hospitals located in the GBA.

Three premium services for seamless cross-border health protection

FWD's PREMIER THE ONEcierge One Team Health Management ("PREMIER THE ONEcierge") network covers many top-tier hospitals across the pan-Asia region and is supported by a professional team of medical experts who recommend treatments most suited to customers' needs. In the future, PREMIER THE ONEcierge services will be extended to Guangzhou United Family Hospital and Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital, complemented by three premium services to offer residents across the GBA a more convenient medical experience:

• Cashless facility for hospitalisation: FWD will include UFH in its cashless facility hospital network, allowing insured persons to focus on medical treatment without having to worry about payment.
• Priority appointment with renowned specialists: UFH will provide preferential booking service of UFH doctors as well as physicians from other Grade 3A hospitals in mainland China that have contractual agreements with UFH to FWD insured persons. UFH will assist with the coordination process to ensure insured persons receive timely medical care.
• Cross-border cancer case coordination services: Insured persons will benefit from doctor-to-doctor tele-opinions between UFH doctors and Hong Kong doctors to develop the most appropriate treatment plans to fit the patient's condition. The patient's treatment plans in mainland China will also be followed up to ensure cross-border treatments are in good order.

Guangzhou United Family Hospital offers comprehensive world-class medical services including internal medicine, surgery, family medicine, rehabilitation, traditional Chinese medicine, and 24-hour emergency care. Meanwhile, Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital, a comprehensive hospital spanning approximately 73,000 square metres, operates under Joint Commission International (JCI) standards and provides medical services covering the entire life cycle.
