HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Fifty-seven per cent of foreign investors want to increase their business operations in Viet Nam, making the country the most popular location for business expanding amongst the ASEAN bloc.

According to the 2012/13 ASEAN Business Outlook Survey, carried out by the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore in cooperation with other AmChams in the ASEAN region, Thailand is the second most popular location with 11 per cent, followed by Singapore and the Philippines.

For Singaporean investors, Viet Nam comes second, after the newly emerging Myanmar, which appears on the list for the first time. Indonesia and Thailand hold third and fourth positions respectively.—VNS
