Beko, a leading home appliances company in Europe, on October 29 announced its further expansion in Asia by entering the Viet Nam home appliances market.

At a launch event in HCM City, Beko unveiled its refrigerators with EverFresh+ and NeoFrost technologies from Europe, which the company said would keep fruits and vegetables fresh for up to 30 days by maintaining humidity levels at 95 per cent.
Speaking about Beko's opportunities in Viet Nam, Ho Xuan Loc, general manager of Vietbeko, said: "This new emerging Asian market is very interesting for Beko. We believe with the outstanding strengths of Beko, our products will be ideal choices for the young generation consumers who are technology savvy and fond of stylishly designed products."
Beko is the international home appliance subsidiary of Turkey's Arcelik Group and a partner of Spain's iconic Barcelona Football Club.
It set up a plant in Thailand last year. — VNS
