HCM CITY (Biz Hub)– The Viet Nam Standard and Consumer Protection Association (VINASTAS) has awarded a "Reputable Business for Consumers" certificate to the dairy firm FrieslandCampina Viet Nam.
Since 1996, the company has invested more than US$135 million in expanding production in Viet Nam. It has wholly automated two factories in Binh Duong and Ha Nam.
The company has purchased 75,000 tonnes of fresh milk per year from 3,000 Vietnamese farms, accounting for one-fourth of fresh milk produced in Viet Nam.
VINASTAS launched the "Reputable Business for Consumers" award in 2011. It considers four criteria in choosing the company to be awarded – customer/consumer-oriented business policies, sufficient and accurate information for customers/consumers, good quality sales networks, and a well trained workforce.--VNS
