Budget airline to add new aircraft


The airline said in a statement on Wednesday that it had already received three Airbus A321, and two are expected to arrive soon.

Budget Jetstar Pacific Airline will receive five Airbus A321 aircraft to serve high-season tourism this year, increasing its fleet to 21 aircraft, including 15 Airbus A320 planes.

The airline said in a statement on Wednesday that it has already received three Airbus A321, and two are expected to arrive soon.

It said the introduction of new aircraft is part of its planned schedule with 11,000 flights and two million passengers between June and August this year.

Jetstar officially operated three direct flights connecting Da Nang with Phu Quoc Islands, Thanh Hoa and Vinh in May.

Jetstar Pacific is operating seven domestic and three international routes from Da Nang International Airport to Taipei, Hong Kong and Singapore with 642 flights, carrying 120,000 passengers per month.

In 2018, Jetstar Pacific carried 6.2 million passengers, a 14.3 per cent increase year-on-year.

It also joined air flight networks with Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Group to help connect Viet Nam and 85 destinations in 18 countries and territories. — VNS
