Beko, FC Barcelona launch healthy lifestyle campaign globally

Beko has launched "Eat Like A Pro," its new initiative, with support from FC Barcelona, aimed at raising awareness of the rapidly growing rate of childhood obesity around the world, including Viet Nam.

The campaign aims to tackle the issue by empowering and helping parents worldwide on the importance of healthy eating while encouraging children to emulate their FC Barcelona heroes and "Eat Like A Pro."

Ella Mills, also known as Deliciously Ella, and FC Barcelona football legend Patrick Kluivert joined Beko on August 31 at IFA for the campaign announcement, showing their support, along with sharing their expertise and tips on healthy living.

“Childhood obesity is truly a global issue. If current trends continue, the number of overweight or obese under-five will reach 70 million by 2025”, Hakan Bulgurlu, CEO Arcelik A.S., said.

“Our "Eat Like a Pro" initiative aims to make healthy food enticing to children throughout the world, helping them eat what their heroes eat. Our aim is simple, to help reduce childhood obesity through prevention and education,” Bulgurlu said.

The entire campaign will be rolled out globally from January 2018, and will engage with families, schools, communities and homes around the world.
