Becamex IDC to pay 4% cash dividend for 2019

Investment and Industrial Development Joint Stock Corporation (Becamex IDC) will finalise the list of shareholders to enjoy a 4 per cent cash dividend scheduled for 2019 performance.

The list of beneficial shareholders will be completed on November 26. Cash dividend payment will be made on December 22 at the rate of 4 per cent.

That means every shareholder will receive VND400 for each share they have. With 1.035 billion outstanding shares, the upcoming cash dividend is worth VND414 billion.

In 2019, Becamex recorded a 25.7 per cent annual increase in total revenue, which reached VND8.2 trillion ($353.8 million). Total post-tax profit gained 12.6 per cent on-year to VND2.63 trillion last year.

The total undistributed post-tax profit by December 31, 2019 was VND4.13 trillion.

In the third quarter of 2020, net revenue increased by 11.7 per cent on-year to VND1.55 trillion and post-tax profit was up a fifth on-year to VND631 billion.

Becamex shares, listed with code BCM, moved from the Unlisted Public Company Market (UPCoM) to the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE) on August 31.

The company shares were flat at VND39,300 ($1.69) apiece on Friday, having gained total 40.3 per cent since its debut on HoSE. — VNS
