Asian indices close on mixed note

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Asian stock markets ended on a mixed note on April 15.

The Hang Seng Index increased 57.33 points to close at 27,618.82 in Hong Kong, while the Straits Times Index jumped 18.87 points to reach 3,539.95 points in Singapore.

At the same time, the Nikkei 225 and the Shanghai Composite Indices experienced a remarkable decline. The Nikkei 225 lost 38.92 points to close at 19,869.76 in Japan, and the Shanghai Composite Index decreased 51.40 points to close at 4,084.16 in China.

Meanwhile, the two bourses in Vietnam ended higher on the same day. The VN-Index added 5.83 points to reach 564.50 and the HNX-Index increased 0.83 to close at 83.03. — VNS
