The National Economics University and the Association of British Chartered Accountants (ACCA) recently signed an extension of a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic co-operation.
This is the second time that the National Economics University and ACCA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote sustainable educational development activities.
On the basis of those successes, as well as the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Economics University and the British Association of Chartered Accountants signed in 2017, the introduction of the full-time Advanced programme in Audit Integrated ACCA Qualification at the Advanced Education Programme (AEP) has opened a period of deeper strategic co-operation for both the university and the association, helping students to master academic knowledge in different fields of work, have access to and learn practical content and how to apply it to the real world while pursuing a professional international qualification such as ACCA.
To raise co-operation between the two sides to a higher and more comprehensive level, the National Economics University and ACCA signed an extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This MoU extension, in addition to expanding the existing co-operation activities between the two parties, will enhance the internationalisation and professionalism of the university's training programmes.
The Memorandum of Understanding continues to affirm the strategic co-operation relationship between the National Economics University and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and will officially introduce the full-time Advanced program in Audit integrated ACCA Qualification from the 2023 school year. The programme will be implemented in cooperation with ACCA.
According to the co-operation agreement between the two parties, ACCA will support the university's lecturers to improve their professional competence, develop lesson plans and provide information on training and research in the fields of accounting, auditing and finance. From there, the teaching staff will be constantly updated with new knowledge and trends in the industry to improve the quality of teaching.
For students, ACCA will regularly support them to access scholarships, skills training, international student exchanges, financial support and business connections. — VNS
