300 students win prizes in VUS English contests
As many as 277 students won prizes in English contests held by the Vietnam – USA Society – The English Center (VUS) this summer.
As many as 277 students won prizes in English contests held by the Viet Nam-USA Society – The English Center (VUS) this summer.
The Summer Stars contest attracted 37,162 candidates nationwide taking part in many rounds including speaking with native teachers. Of the candidates, 262 outstanding ones were selected, including 10 winning the first prize and 30 the second prize.
The V-Challenge has attracted 13,460 candidates. Of these, 2,302 have attended the final round in which they have answered 30 English multiple choice questions in science, society, geography, history and arts. The top 15 best candidates were chosen.
The contests were held in compliance with safe criteria for COVID-19 prevention and control. They were a part of the Super Summer 2020 programme of VUS. — VNS
