Vietnamese automaker Vinfast has announced that the first edition of its made-in-Viet Nam automobile Fadil will be handed over to customers in a ceremony in mid-June.

Between now and Wednesday, clients can register to test drive the Fadil at any of the 32 Vinfast agents and showrooms.

The Vinfast Fadil is now priced at VND394.5 million (US$17,000), inclusive of valued added tax. tarting September 1, its price will be about VND465 million.

Vinfast General Director James Deluca said that with the delivery of the car to clients on schedule and the inauguration of an automobile manufacturing plant only 21 months after construction began, Vinfast has completed a huge volume of work that could take other manufacturers 36-60 months.

Designed in a European style, Vinfast Fadil is equipped with a 1.4L engine, advanced safety features and is available in six colours. — VNS
