More than 100 motorcycle models from 10 manufacturers and importers will be displayed at the second annual Viet Nam Motorcycle Show 2017, to be held in HCM City from May 4 to 7.
With the theme of “Free Your Wheels”, the exhibition will showcase a wide range of products, including standard scooters, sport motorcycles, high-performance motorcycles and concept models.
Famous brands will include Honda, Piaggio, Suzuki, SYM, Yamaha, Benelli, Ducati, Kawasaki, Peugeot and Harley Davidson.
Fifty-five brands from the supporting industry, spare parts and related services will also participate in the exhibition. They include Motul, Bosch, Caltex, Total, Nissin, Quikfix, Casumina, Pinaco and HD Saigon.
Yano Takeshi, chairman of the Viet Nam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers, the organiser, said: “As Viet Nam has become the 4th largest motorcycle market in the world, the association was founded to establish a forum to connect all motorcycle manufacturers in order to develop the motorcycle industry and contribute to social prosperity.”
“To fulfill the mission, the association has organised the Viet Nam Motorcycle Show to create a playground for all brands to approach their customers and introduce the latest products and technologies to Vietnamese customers,” he added.
Takeshi said the exhibition, expected to attract more than 150,000 visitors, would continue to be one of the most reputable annual events of Viet Nam's motorcycle industry.
This year, the organiser will expand interactivity and practical experiences for visitors before and during the event in order to attract motorcycle fans as well as Vietnamese consumers.
Each exhibitor will demonstrate outstanding motorcycle performances and hold test rides, mini-games, live music, a fashion show and interactions with Vietnamese celebrities.
The exhibition was organised for the first time last year, attracting more than 140,000 visitors in four days.
This year, the exhibition will be held at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre in District 7 in HCM City.
